We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Given the sensitive nature of this program, we apply additional care to the handling of your information.

A note on sensitive information

This program relates to sexual behaviour and recovery. We understand that your participation is deeply personal. We treat all information associated with your account as sensitive and apply the highest level of care to its protection. Your data is never sold, shared for marketing purposes, or used in any way beyond delivering and improving the program.

Account information

  • Name and email address (provided at registration)
  • Password (stored securely using industry-standard hashing)

Payment information

  • Payment is processed entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVC, or full card details on our servers.
  • We retain a Stripe customer ID and transaction record for billing purposes.

Program usage data

  • Module progress and completion status
  • Questionnaire and self-assessment responses
  • App usage data (check-ins, tool usage, progress tracking)

Technical data

  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • IP address (used for security and fraud prevention only)
  • Pages visited and general usage patterns

2. How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account
  • To deliver the program content and track your progress

4. Cookies and local storage

Our website uses minimal cookies required for the site to function (authentication tokens, session management). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

The companion app uses your browser's localStorage to persist your progress and preferences locally on your device (via Zustand state management). This data stays on your device and is also synced to your account on our servers to enable access across devices.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data and program progress for as long as your account is active. After your access period expires, we retain your data for an additional 12 months to allow for account reactivation.

After this retention period, your data will be permanently deleted unless we are required by law to retain it for longer (for example, financial transaction records as required by Australian tax law).

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see below).

6. Data security

We take the security of your information seriously, particularly given the sensitive nature of this program. Measures include:

  • All data transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption)
  • Passwords hashed using industry-standard algorithms
  • Database access restricted with row-level security policies
  • Payment information handled exclusively by Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant)
  • Regular security reviews of our infrastructure

Your data is transferred to and processed in the United States and Australia (Supabase, Stripe, and Adilo are US-based services). These transfers are necessary to deliver the service and are protected by the providers' data processing agreements.

You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. The UK supervisory authority is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

For California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell, share, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for cross-context behavioural advertising. You have the right to know what data we collect, request deletion, and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

For Australian residents

We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

8. Children

This program is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will delete their account and associated data.
